Tessa S. Mahler

Tessa S. Mahler has served as Pennington Biomedical Research Foundation’s accountant since 2010. In 2017, she was promoted to director of accounting and special projects.

Mahler manages the accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll functions for the Foundation and the Pennington Medical Foundation. She also assists the senior vice president/chief financial officer and operating officer with special financial projects and also provides support to the advancement/donor services area of the Foundation.

A graduate of Southeastern University, Mahler previously worked as an accountant at H & O Investments and as a tax accountant with Lamar Advertising Company.
