The mission of the Pennington Biomedical Research Foundation is to support the work of LSU’s Pennington Biomedical Research Center, which aims to discover the triggers of chronic diseases through innovative research that improves human health.

Established in 1987, the Pennington Biomedical Research Foundation is classified by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. As such, donations to the Pennington Biomedical Research Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Pennington Biomedical Research Foundation’s Federal Tax I.D. is: 58-1767810.

The Foundation Board of Directors are firmly committed to conducting business according to the highest standards of integrity, accountability and transparency.
